wow i had sooo much to read when i finally logged in again.. now that im fully updated on wat you ppl have been doing..let me try to think on wat you have missed. It will be easy to make a list i think:
*Changed my major to Education Studies focusing on k-6 [idk smh]
*I went to disney..thats another blog it happened to have it ups and downs buhh hhey thats life!
*Two cousins are visiting frm bak home (St.Vincent)so i've been hanging with them since i got back from florida [they cool]
*Tom. is orrientation at 10am, school starts the 10th
*Got my schedule its not that bad but it does prevent me from working.. or not..
*Random:i can now put on eyeliner with a breeze and it came out perfect!
*Bought Blush [finally!]
*Getting alot of beauty sleep! [nt that i need it. jk!]
*ummmmmmm i think thats it..havent been doin much
So now that i listed stuff i will go more in detail on a few things::
*DISNEY WORLD/FLORIDA TRIP*-
tHE day we were suppose to leave i got my new phone delivered just a half an hour before we were planning to leave the house. when we got to the airport we had alot of run around with the long lines and such. in the end we ended up missing the flight. [=/] This landed us in a whole new LONGG line. When we finally got to the desk the woman explained that she could only get 2 ppl out of the 12 of us to go on a flight that day the rest of us were going to be split up in groups at various times to board plans the next day. I was STRESSED lol. So my stepdad and his nephew went on the plane while every1 else headed to my house. that night i shared a room with two girls [names changed cuz i have a bit of respect] Lucy and Stella. they were very cool we got along great that night.[pause]
anyway fast forward// once every1 finally gets in the house including 3 more ppl now making the total# 15. things ran smoothly until Lucy & Stella went total diva mode.. this was the only downer of the trip.. they seperated theirselves the whole trip as far as im concerned.. THEY WENT TO DISNEY WORLD PARKS.. WATER PARK INCLUDED AND DIDNT GO ON RIDES INSTEAD THEY SAT THERE READING AND COMPLAININ READY TO GO WHEN WE FIRST GET THERE.. WASTE OF 140 BUCKS! each park was 70 yu do the math!
but other than that it was AWESOME!!! - i got proposed to by Chip [one of the chipmunks frm disney's Chip&Dale] i saw mickey took pics with alot of the stars..had fun with the family. went to the juicy store.. went shoppin in the mall.. went in our hot tub and pool. lived in a BIG BEAUTIFUL house.. it was poppin! lolsz.
Got bak to the city at 11:50pm on the 18th of august.

Pick up a book!
when i was younger i will always be told pick up a book. i come from a caribbean family so for yu yankees out there, this simply means go read something. i do admit looking back at it i should have been deciding to do this on my own buhh i can definately be stubborn at times. yesterday i ask my mom for 100 bucks and went to barnes & noble. i spent like almost $90. SMH. i got 5 books which are as follows:
1.The Time Traveler's Wife- if you havent seen the previews for the movie it has been ranked as one of the top ten books of the year. it is about a girl named Clare and she is in love with a man named Henry. Now the circumstances in which they meet may be a bit unethical but its jus really adds to the spice of things. That way its not just an average love story because of the set backs they must face. i only read the prologue and the first chapter but so far so GREAT.. lol
2.Rattled- this book is a memoir of a women named Christine Coppa. She works for glamour magazine, has only $271 in the bank, slurges instead of saving i assume. just living it up. until she becomes pregnant! how is it all gonna work out i will jus have to wait and see. i again have only read the intro and the first paragraph so far it seems like this should be packed with difficulties because she had only been dating the guy for a couple months and that cnt be that reliable.
3.Beginner's Greek- NO I AM NOT TRYING TO LEARN GREEK.. now that we got that out the way, i havent started this book as yet but from the back cover i have caught a gist of what it is gonna be about. a guy meets the "love of his life" and then loses her number.. stressed much? then as if he already didnt have enough on his plate, he finally meets the woman again but she is engaged to HIS BEST FRIEND..will he tnh{take a nigga's hunnie} on his bestie or forever hold his peace??
4.How To Be Single- [havent read any of it yet] soo according to the cover this is wat i get.. it is about a women named Julie. she is very content with her life as a single lady [*sings* ALL THE SINGLE LADIES..ALL THE SINGLE LADIES lol.] one of her best friends is being left by her husband. to cheer her friend Georgia up.. they along wit a few other close friends, go out to remind themselves why it is good not to be tied down.. even though this outing started of great laughin it up and drinking wit the girls..this became a wake up call for Julie. she realizes that there had to be more to life than this. she quit her job and went on a life adventure to find out how women around the world are dealing with this "single life& the ups and downs of it".. during this trip she finds love, gets her heart broken, sees the world, and learns way more than she ever thought possible...it should be interesting. ill keep yu posted once i start.
5.Being Nikki- [i havent read this and i will make it short since the previous one was long and yur eyes are maybe tired. lol] its about a teenage super model.. who unlike the sterotypical model isnt an airhead!..her mom goes missing, she has a brother bangin on her door for answers, her lil sis is starting high school, she has runways shows happening ex boyfriends using her for photo ops. some heartthrobe wrote a song about her thats topping chart, her ex bestie is tryna ruin some business [i assume one of her family or the one she works for?], the company she works for is switchin to the dark side, and she has to find a way to prove to the love of her life that she is actually smart!
OK I JUS REALIZE YES I DONT READ BUT I HAVE A NEW CRAVE TO DO IT.. MAYBE BECAUSE MY TV BROKE AND THIS WAY I CAN NOW IMAGINE WITH THE BOOKS AND THEY ARE JUS LIKE MOVIES RIGHT LOL OR TV SHOWS.. JUS WITH WORDS!...ALSO I NEED TO OPEN UP MY GENRE..TO MUCH SAPPY STUFF BUT.. ATLEAST THIS IS A STEP IN A GOOD DIRECTION..IMMA LET YU GUYS GO MUAHSZ SOWWY FOR THE LENGTH! =/.

OKAY SO SORRY FOR THE CAPS PPL BUT IM REALLY FEELING SOME TYPE OF WAY. AND NOT A TYPE OF WAY THAT CHOCLATE CAN CURE! MY CELL PHONE WAS STOLEN TODAY, IM ONE OF THOSE PPL WHO ARE ALWAYS TEXTING FOR SOME ODD REASON.. LIKE IT BECAME AN ADDICTION..AIM FACEBOOK TEXTMESSAGE BLOG.. EVERYTHING CAME TO MY INBOX..BUHH IF IT WASNT BAD ENUFF THAT SOMEONE JUS STOLE.. HERE'S THE STORY OF HOW I THINK THEY STOLE.. YES I HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT.. BY BEIING CARELESS BUHH STILL!

SO ANYWAY IM IN THE BATHROOM I PUT THE FONE DOWN FIXED MY HAIR.. TOLD MY SELF IM CUTE LOL.. WENT POTTY..sorry tmi i kno buhh bak to the story..THEN CARELESS ME JUS WALKS OUT.. [oh yea i forgot to mention i went to the boys bathroom cuz some1 was in the girls room]
then when i was ready to go bak down when church was dismissed it was gone... then my friends ipod touch had disappeared on friday some1 else fone got snatched up..
WTF YU IN CHURCH AND YUR STEALIN???????? REALLY YU GONNA FUCKIN BURN IN HELL.. UNLESS YU THE TYPE THAT SECRETLY VACATIONS THERE.. SMFH I REALLY DISLIKE THAT SHIT!! UGHH

intro..very nervous..rambling much?
I always wanted to start a blog buh never knew how to begin. i believe that sometimes yu need insentive.my best friend and i have been drifting apart and she started a blog recently. not that im following her or anything buh, if something is broken yu should attempt to fix it. not continue on like everything is peachy. i love my best friend and maybe this way when im to busy to visit the her h.s [my old school]. i can keep her updated this way on all that life has been throwing my way.
so first things first, i am 17 and about to embark on my life as a college student. i wanted to go way but i wasnt allowed =(. so now i am goin to a community college for a year. i will see wat happens after that. my name is Halima but my nick name is ma9ic. the story behind that is::

the name sorta stuck since then. another thing i should share is that i am really into music. i know yur probably sayin "yeah yeah arent we all" but i am REALLY into music. my ipod has classical music on it! i was in a marching band i was band president 3 YEARS in high school..vp one year..and president of the chorus twice..i wanted to be a music teacher buh now my major is going to be early childhood ed. and minor mayb in music.
ok i know im really rambling on and on..its simply because this intro was not well thought out and im a bit nervous. well my future hopes for my blog (which i promise WILL BE BETTER)
is to be able to speak about my life, the ppl i encounter and the things i learn from each experience,music and trying my best to help ppl through things. my best friend Saika (www.mgu005.blogspot.com) is really great at giving advice im great at the listening angle of things and attemptin to help. my whole thing is all yu can give is yur best. so why not do so. if it doesnt always work..jus know yu knocked one idea out the way so yu can keep trying!
